Batman is a superhero who appears in Dectective comics 27# starting in 1939, he was created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane.His identity Bruce wance is a wealthy multi-millionaire who, during the day acts a playboy,philanthropist, and head of Wanye Enterprises. But this is all to hide the fact that during the night he acts acts as Batman, a crime fighting vigilante. After his parents, Dr. Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne,died in a robbery gone wrong he vowed to fight all crime in order to make sure what happened to him as a child will never happen to another person again. Batman dresses up as a bat because as a child the one thing that terrorized him as a child was a bat, so he dresses up as a bat to give the criminals the same fear and terror he had as a child.
